Why a shared checklist matters

Most disputes in OEM sourcing are not about one bad sample, but about different teams using different standards. A shared checklist makes each check measurable.

Run one sequence for every lot

1) Visual and specification check

• Verify color code, length tier, curl type, and sample images against the approved sample sheet.
• Keep at least three timestamped process photos per batch.

2) Pre-bond and hold test

• Use the same fixture, pressure, and holding method across all checks.
• Run immediate and delayed checks.
• Record each failure with location, batch number, and required correction.

3) Mix consistency and packaging

• Verify mixed lot ratio, volume and weight drift.
• Confirm carton specs, labels, and packing list match.

Release and recheck rules

• Any failure in visual, pre-bond, hold, or packaging stops release.
• Corrected batches must be rechecked with the same setup.
• Keep all evidence, batch IDs, and decisions in one record.
